Wednesday morning

I will start with some thoughts. I watched President O'Bama's address and he is very eloquent. I believe in a way he was trying to be candid with the American people has to how he envisions his plans to work. The part were he said that the bill had no spending that wasn't needed I am sorry I believe there are pet projects hidden all through the thing. I do have a problem with government taking over private enterprise. If banks and other companies had been allowed to fail in the past then others might have taken precautions to be more wise with their money. Over all it was a good speech meant to give the American people a measure of comfort. For me it just opened up more questions. One that sticks out in my mind was his discussion over the tax breaks for 95% off the American people. First he said that 95% of Americans would see the tax credit by April 1st, then he said the "check is in the mail". My understanding of this was that a tax on income was going to go down so that the individual would bring more home on each pay check, so why would there be a check in the mail? Feel free to share if you know the answers.
