Okay I know it doesn't look like alot but for $3.24 I personally think it was awesome!
I am going to go over how I got these items for this price, keep in mind that I am in an area where the paper comes out on Thursday for the following week so the local Walgreens honors next week sale prices a few days early. This allowed me to use the $5/$20 coupon that is good only on Oct. 4th and Oct. 5th.
First the abbreviations:
c = coupon
ivc = instant coupon from the easysaver book
ic = internet coupon
Garnier Shampoo + styler = $2.99 - $1 c = $1.99
Oral B toothbrush = $1.99 - $1 ivc - .75 = .24
Crest toothpaste = $1.99 - $1 ivc - $1 = $0
Glade candle = $3.99 - $2 c = $1.99
Hershey candy bogo c, buy milk chocolate get the dark chocolate free - x2 = .50 + .50 - .79 - .79 = -.59

used register rewards coupon = $2
TOTAL : $8.69 - $5.45 refund = $3.24 oop
I forgot to give them a coupon for buy two get one free on the Oxy so they refunded me $5.45, making my out of pocket total $3.24! Total savings of $36.76! (The B2G1 was obtained at forums.slickdeals.net, just go under the Walgreens/CVS deals forum, look for the Walgreens sales info for Oct 5th - Oct. 11th, and then look for post containing the coupon)
I also got a $1 coupon with the garnier shampoo. Just to let you know they have the shampoo on the shelf but if you head to the beauty department you can get a 24 oz bottle of the shampoo or conditioner with a free styler attached for the same price as the others.
Good luck. Send me replies back and let me know how you do!
