Kmart SUPER Double Oct 26 - Nov 1

Okay Kmart has been doing this promotion for a while but just rotating the stores that are participating. You may be saying, "What promotion?" Well it is just this, Kmart is doubling all coupons $2 and under!!! And this week is our turn...*happy dance*

Here are the rules that I got out of the paper:
1. Amount of credit from doubling a coupon cannot exceed the retail price of an item.
2. No cash or in-store purchase credit will be awarded for any amount exceeding this retail price of the item.
3. You may only purchase 4 of the same item using double coupons. (Limit of 4 coupons and therefore 4 of the same item, okay guys?)
4. Only 1 coupon will be doubled per item.
5. Coupons do not apply to sales tax.
6. Limit 75 coupons per customer per day.
7. Internet coupons or copies of manufacturer instant coupons are not valid.

There are a few other items there about excluded items, that include clothing, layaway and prior purchases, but above is the main gist of the rules.

If you intend to go make sure that you have plenty of time. It is going to take a while to walk the aisles and look at all your coupons. Try to skim through your coupons ahead of time and have a mental idea of all the coupons that you have that are over $1. To make things go more smoothly pull out all your $2 coupons and make a list of the ones that you have.

Don't assume that just because you are doubling your coupon that you are getting the best deal. A friend and I participated in this sale awhile back using a special email. I got some good deals but there were also some items that I passed up because quite frankly I could have gotten it cheaper at another store and just used the regular redemption of the coupon.

Okay, now that being said I poured over the circular for Kmart and went through the coupons I have and wrote down the best deals that I found. Remember that everything you have a coupon for is not in this paper. The last time I did this at Kmart I had a ton of Dove coupons for body wash and shampoo that were for $2 so after the doubling they came to around a $1 a piece, but that of course is not in this paper. Doesn't mean it won't be a good deal with a coupon just means I don't know the price so I can't TELL you what it would be. This is just to get you started.

Here is our key:
c - coupon
dc - kmart doubling the coupon
5/$1 - means 5 for one dollar...get it

And away we go:
Nestle Candy 3/$5 - $1 c - $1 dc = 3/$3 or $1 a bag (c is for $1 off of 3)
Jergens lotion 6.49 - $1 c - $1 dc = $4.49
Pantene shampoo $3.50 - $1 c - $1 dc = $1.50
Gillette Shampoo $3.50 - $2 c - $2 dc = -.50
Colgate total toothpaste $2.50 - $1 c - $1 dc = .50
Crest toothpaste $2.50 - $1 c - $1 dc = .50
Welch's grape juice $3.33 - $1 c - $1 dc = $1.33
Kelloggs cereal is on sale, Miniwheats c for me 3/$8 or $2.66 - $1 c - $1 dc = .66

That is the best that I can find from the circular. Like I said you will have to walk through the store with your coupons and make sure to look at all items of interest. I wish you all luck.

  1. Dove shampoo and conditioners are $3.79 and the cheapest bodywash I found was $4.79, but the coupons in the beauty book are for the oil bodywashes and those are $5.19, Hope that helps!
