Background information on this child:

A group of Roane County businesses and churches are hosting a community fun day this Saturday, July 18 to benefit Carter Houston, a 1-year-old child. Baby Carter and his family have gone through a lot this past year with the most difficult part being his most recent surgery to remove the entire right side of his brain -- an anatomic hemispherectomy. While his mother does have insurance, there has been several large expenses that could not be covered including transportation costs to/from Cleveland Medical Center and some of the more extensive therapy that Baby Carter has needed and will need for the foreseeable future.

If you can attend and help this family out that would be great. If you can't attend and you want to help this local family just contact the people listed above. I couldn't help but send this on when I saw this little boy's precious face. I hope this helps his family.
